VENEER CUTS & MATCHING OPTIONS
Our hardwood plywood is crafted with real wood veneers, selected for rich character, consistency and premium quality. We offer over 200 veneer species, including maple, oak, birch and responsibly sourced exotics.

For architectural projects, veneers are hand-selected for color consistency and can be sequence-matched across panels. We offer a range of veneer cut styles—including rotary, quarter-sliced, rift-cut and plain-sliced—to achieve the desired grain pattern and visual effect.

BarracudaPly is a marine panel line in our softwood plywood collection. Our marine panels are industrial- and commercial grade with high quality faces and backs. They are certified by the APA – The Engineered Wood Association and available as FSC certified.

Sheathing is applied to the outer studs, joists, and rafters of a building to strengthen the structure and is meant to shed water and protect the walls from the effects of weather.

Underlayment is typically used under flooring or roofing where added insulation and structural integrity is required.

Grades: C X-band, Tongue & Groove

CUSTOM CUTS
Our sanders and specialty glues allow us to fabricate panels for a wide range of performance requirements. We can even engineer panels to meet the unique and specific needs of individual customers— including panels up to 5′ wide, 10′ long and 1-1/8” thick. We also offer plug and-touch sanding, full sanding and tongue-and-groove.

Timber Products is proud to introduce RhinoCoat antimicrobial* prefinished panels!

Answering the call for a higher performance product, RhinoCoat antimicrobial panels are now treated with an antimicrobial technology specifically formulated to mitigate the growth of certain microorganisms, protecting the structural integrity of the panels.

Rhinocoat antimicrobial panels can inhibit the growth of microbes such as fungus (such as mold and mildew) that may cause unpleasant odors, degradation, discoloration, decay, and staining of the panels. Our test results show up to 99.929% of the microbial load was reduced.

Applied using an innovative UV curing technology, the preservative used on our RhinoCoat antimicrobial has properties that protect the surface of panels from microbial growth.

The construction plywood WELDE FILM Robusta is the one produced in Bulgaria water-resistant plywood of WELDE Austria. Built from full veneers of wild poplar wood by the species Robusta from the Balkan region, WELDE FILM achieves excellent technical results. Both-sides flat film and painted edges with water-repellent paint make it resistant to concrete mixtures and result in multiple times use. The top benefits by WELDE FILM are long-time use, low product density weight for easy work, the ideal flat surface finish, stable quality.

This type of RECYCLED-Filmfaced-Plywood is one of the cheapest formwork panels on the market. The core is recycled poplar wood from china, which has been finger-joined and laminated – or also known as a “Laminboard-FJL” – on which a new veneer is applied – to then a cheaper Chinese formwork film on both sides. Just by using recycled wood and gluing small bands into the core, the panel is very cheap, but it is on the other hand not advisable to saw this board into narrow strips or small pieces. Only suitable for very simple one-time formwork, without specific requirements.

The 1THP type of poplar filmfaced plywood is an answer (especially for the French market) to have an even cheaper variant on the 2THP-type Filmfaced Plywood. This formwork panel – in the very low price segment – went through the cold press once, was not specially calibrated for thickness and then went directly (with the film) through the hot press once. The result is a very cheaper concrete shuttering plywood, which because it was not calibrated may show thickness differences and has some minor defects in the film. The formwork sheet is only suitable for very simple formwork work, without high demands. The difference with the even cheaper recycled plywood is that 1THP can be sawn into small strips/sizes.

We remain in the low-cost segment, but on this type: “3THP Q-Premium” Filmfaced Poplar Plywood, extra attention has been paid to quality. A perfectly smooth “red-brown” Dynea film (of 130gr) was provided on both sides. A water-resistant bonding (EN314-2 Cl.2) was used and extra attention was paid to the core construction. In which the base-panel went through the cold press once, calibrated and sanded two times and the hot press was used three times. The panel is correctly calibrated in thickness and has a smooth surface on both sides. The biggest difference with the 2THP is that the 3THP, just before applying the film, the panel was extra calibrated (on thickness and flatness of the supporting panel), slightly more attention was paid to the layer structure and the film is a DYNEA-Film of red-brown colour.

The “OX-SUPERFILM-240” filmfaced plywood is with us, one of the best-selling concrete plywood. This superior concrete plywood was developed exclusively and together with a professional manufacturer in China, to meet predetermined standards. The board receives a 240gr high-quality formwork film, with the well-known logo on one side. (There is no logo on the back side). 100% hardwood is used in the core and the technique of machine core-building applied, to have quasi no core-gaps or quasi no overlaps in the base panel. The producer also aims for EN314-2 Class-3 bonding and is tested in China at Class-III. We test the board on a regular basis in Europe – in an independent lab – and cautiously, we give that board an EN314-2 Class-2+. The shuttering board is suitable for protected outdoor use for multiple shuttering jobs.

Storage and Handling

Plywood maybe expands in thickness and width when encounters wet condition without taking any actions. To ensure the full benefits of plywood as a dry, straight and true material are available at the time of installation, the following recommendations regarding storage are made:

Keep dry during storage and transport.
Avoid mechanical damage during handling.
Re-seal cut edges of painted formwork with a water-repellent paint to aviod moisture peneration.
Avoid throwing plywood hard during projects.
5.Recommend use with concrete mould release agents for protection during demoulding process.

Megaplex is a very high quality Chinese film faced plywood. It is produced under MEGAPLEX logo for our company only. We have marked each side of the panels with the trademark MEGAPLEX and specification WBP GLUE BROWN FFPLYWOOD A/A GRADE. MIP Group offers to its Bulgarian and foreign partners very good quality film faced plywood with that product. Our company has huge quantities MEGAPLEX for export stocked in our storage in Varna. We realize fast orders and delivery to Stip, Skopie, Strumitca in Macedonia, Serbia and Romania.
MEGAPLEX is film faced plywood with highest technical specification. Produced in China. This is top quality film faced plywood imported in Bulgaria. Size of every sheet: 1220x2440x21мм (+/-3), poplar core, 13 plies, WBP glue 220-240g/m2. Grade A/A. Weight 33-35Kg. Package – plywood. 45 pieces in a pallet.

Every sheet and pallet sign is: WBP GLUE BROWN FF PLYWOOD A/A GRADE . This is PREMIUM QUALITY. Only MIP Group is importer of that product. Our company has the rights over the product, the logo .
The film faced plywood MEGAPLEX is produced as top quality shuttering panels. You can use it over 10 times. You should follow the instructions for use of panels so to use many times .

It’s important to know that film faced plywood MEGAPLEX is not finger joint core. You can not meet inside concrete or old parts of plywood. MEGAPLEX is brand new poplar core film faced plywood made of 13 plies poplar new veneer. We use WBP glue. This is TWO hot pressed plywood. High quality of every panel is guaranteed.

For reference the Finger Joint Core (recycled) film faced plywood is made by used plywood parts. Composed by a machine and all that sanded. Than 2 new veneer plies used on both sides. And filmed after that. The finger joint core plywood has same outside view as the poplar core but in most panels you can meet sand and concrete and quality is very poor. You can use 1-3 times.

Korinplex Film Faced Shuttering Plywood, from the Korindo Group, is a high-quality panel engineered for demanding concrete formwork applications. Manufactured in Indonesia primarily from mixed hardwood species, Korinplex offers excellent strength, durability, and a smooth concrete finish, making it a reliable choice for construction projects. It is available in various thicknesses and sizes, including 12mm, 15mm, and 18mm (all 13-ply) in standard 1220x2440mm sheets, as well as an 18mm x 610x2440mm option.

The Korinplex panels feature a high-quality film face on one or both sides, providing a non-absorbent, smooth surface that imparts a uniform finish to cast concrete and allows for easy stripping of formwork. The plywood is bonded with T-1.5 type glue (WBP equivalent), ensuring excellent bond strength and high resistance to moisture, critical for concrete shuttering applications and multiple reuses. Description: The FILM FACED PLYWOOD RIOPLY is assembled with selected veneers following a strict quality control that results in a high quality product based on international standards. It is coated with imported Tego Film 180-gr./m2. This product is submitted to a rigorous calibration process, which grants it uniform thickness all throughout the panel. A rubberized paint is applied on the edges conferring them a highly sealing resistance. It makes RIOPLY Panels totally waterproof.

Application: The FILM FACED RIOPLY is indicated to use as concrete shuttering in buildings such as concrete slabs, beams, pillars/columns and foundations.

Number of Uses: FILM FACED RIOPLY holds out up to 20 continuous uses, once applied according to the recommended applications.
